Is SecretHomeDataEntry.com A Scam?
Secrethomedataentry.com is a small company that claims to provide legitimate data entry jobs. After my initial research of the company I found out that they used to own fromhomedataentry.com in 2009. Now, Fromhomedataentry has already been recorded as a scam all over the internet and is no longer online. Secrethomedataentry also received an F, the worst rating a business can get from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

SecretHomeDataEntry.com Scam Doesn’t Pay You – Reports!
When you join secrethomedataentry.com with the free membership your given 10 data entry jobs and promised $10.00 per job. After you complete the jobs and request your payout your told that you have to upgrade your account to the paid pro or platinum memberships.
The members that did decide to upgrade then reported that they were still not paid. Apparently they were told that the work was not sufficient, not done correctly or had errors. SecretHomeDataEntry.com then terminates your contract with them and you can no longer do work. So basically, you wasted your time doing the work, your kicked off the site, you don’t get your money back.

Conclusion/Recomendation:
Secrethomedatentry.com has surprised me with everything I was able to find on them. They seem to flip the company to a new website domain name after they get enough bad reviews. Be aware and stay away from Secrethomedataentry and anything they provide.

I was scammed by Secret Home Data Entry. Only of 110.00, but that is enough to snuff at. Please avoid them like the plague. Not only will they scam you of your precious time, but they will deliver a curt response should you inquire about your payment.
How do these people sleep at night.

Thanks so much for your research. I had joined the free membership ion this site and completed a few assignments but wasn’t sure that it was legit to join the full membership. I was also looking at My Data team and web colleges and wasn’t sure who was the best or if any of them were legit. it’s nice to know that this program is a dud before i sunk any money or any more of my time into it. thanks.

Reply To Tariq - SecretHomeDataEntry.com is a scam. If you read the the secrethomedataentry.com scam report you will see that this is a company you don’t want to join.
I wish I’d found this report earlier. I upgraded once and requested payout and have just paid for another upgrade. Oh well, you live and you learn, at least now I won’t put wasted hours into doing any more work, I will just cut my losses.

Hey. I signed up with “secrethomedataentry” yesterday and have filled out approx 34 of their assignments. I requested a payout and they said the request was received andto give them 6-8 weeks to process the request. We paid the $49.95 for the platinum membership because that started you out with 200 ads automatically at $10 ea for a total return of $2000. Plus they said that after the initial guaranteed 200 ads, you would get more ads as the company received them.
Having said all that, is there anyone on here who signed up with them and either DID get paid or DID get a refund? Because my husband and I don’t have much money and I would hate to lose the $50 (not to mention the hours I have put into this already). I guess I will hold off on doing more assignments until I get paid…..
Reply To Virginia – Unfortunately it doesn’t look good. I researched this company pretty hard and I wasn’t able to find any proof of people getting paid. I did find many people complaining that they didn’t get paid as you can see from the scam report. SecretHomeDataEntry is a classic scam company out to take your money. Keep us all posted here it would help many people in the same situations.

I joined this site as well and completed three assignments before i decided to check them out cos it smelled kind of fishy. I’m happy i did cos i was just about to upgrade. The main pointer for me was that you couldn’t use the money you have earned from free membership to upgrade, it just didn’t make sense to me except of course the money is not really mine. I’m a believer in not paying upfront for any online job, if the site is truly genuine, they will just take a percentage of your earnings. I’ve been scammed one too many times over the years hence my desire to start a blog about free and genuine opportunities that i have personally tried and tested. This is a scam. I upgraded and completed 200 assignments. I kept requesting payouts and got none. Now they are saying none of my assignments were up to their required standard. This is a cop out sothey don`t have to pay people. I would keep well way from this site.
Hey my gf signed up for this site and did 100 assignments and upgraded to the pro for $20. I guess what I really want to know is if we can file lawsuit or put these low lifes in prison!? Who is willing to do this???
Reply To John – It is really hard to do this. All you can do is post complaints about them as many people do and hope others follow the advise. It is unfortunate but this is what it is. Tracking down these people is a lot of work and would cost a lot of money. This is why so many of these companies get away with it.
I agree. I feel stupid for paying and crap, but…did anyone try to request from that scam certified website? I just did, im thinking if theyre a real website, they can help.
I too fell for this scam. I am not happy because I was hoping to put this money “made” aside for my son’s Christmas. Last year he was only two months and too little to open his own presents so this year was a little more exciting… ugh. =\

Reply To Lauryn – Don’t feel to bad. It is never fun to lose money but at least you didn’t drop thousands of dollars like I did when I got started. Have a look at the legitimate online jobs section, we have many companies that provide legitimate work from home.
I signed on with secretdataentry.com in July, 2011, and actually enjoyed reviewing websites for grammar and typographical errors. I bought a package of 100 websites to review, and before proceeding much further, I requested an early payout, in accordance with their terms and conditions. I was then notified that it would take 6 – 8 weeks to recieve such payout. This was NOT disclosed anywhere in the fine print. I patiently awaited for such payout, and to date (October 2011) I have received NOTHING as compensation involving fromhomedataentry.com. Dozens of emails, faxes and telephone calls have been made – NOTE that you will never reach a live person, and can only leave messages that go unanswered.
It is my desire to continue following the website and filing complaints with any and every agency available. Early on (when I was receiving a response back, the response was poorly written and extremely unprofessional. I truly trusted this company and was anxious to buy more packages, yet the unwillingness to settle this matter is the ultimate sign of unprofessional and most likely an illegitimate businesss operation. For anyone else in the internet world that comes across my complaint, please go to their website and see where they have been approved as a Scam Free Zone – PLEASE click on the link and file your complaint against them. They appear to be in the process of getting approved by the BBB, and I encourage everyone who has gotten ripped off by them to follow their progress, and then immediately contact the BBB with your story of deceit and fraud. Thank you.
